Getting published

Well I have to say that I was SO impressed by the whole RecordUnion.com experience that I decided to sign-up as an A&R to try and spread the word locally in Farnham and to perhaps give people that opportunity to get discovered, have some fun, and who know - maybe help discover the next Bob Dylan or Black Eyed Peas.

So here it is, my official RecordUnion.com business card for my A&R.

To learn more about this service and the process click here, read this blog, or please do feel free to contact me if you have any questions of my experience with the service.

If you want to sign-up click here and remember the use the UPC code above to get your 2 free UPC codes worth £20. It's totally free to sign-up so what have you got to lose?

Published already!

Well I have to say I am ultra impressed. I originally wrote my article on self-publishing on the 20th September - the day I uploaded my tracks to Recordunion.com.

About 2 weeks ago my material appeared on AmazonMP3.com. About a week later iTunes and today Nokia has joined the fold by ingesting (that's the technical term) my tracks into the Nokia Music Store and making it available for both purchase and through the excellent Comes With Music Service. The proof...

 Here's the album I uploaded...

And the single...

I'm waiting to see how long it takes for reports on my success to come through (i.e. number of downloads) but I won't be giving up my day job just yet.
